The trouble with “Giving it all you ve got” is when you must do this in several arenas of life simultaneously. Ah, the wonders of balancing.
Many are the times I’ve given my all with middle and high school teaching … … and I forgot to save some brainpower for other endeavors. Like writing!
Day by day I’m distancing myself from the flu (or whatever it was) that has dogged me for several weeks. Onward!. Thanks for the reminder to press on, Susan.
Where to deploy resources, whether material or emotional, is always tricky. What’s leftover after the basics are taken care of and how to divide the spoils is a matter of looking at the overall goal. That’s a weakness for me. Goals are whimsical in my mind and they float like flotsam and jettsom around the pool of my brain.
