It’s Monday

“For you alone I think and plan … “

Sorry, but it’s been a gloomy weekend and I need SOMETHING weird and wacky to liven up my day.

Take care–Susan Kaye

This is one of the creepiest pictures ever made. Very few things totally creep me out, but this picture is one of them. He looks crazy and devilish. Scary!

I needed a laugh. Puppies kittens, and the seasonal baby ducks just don’t do it for me. Sorry, AmyFlo.

Yeah, Bill’s here. I won’t look at this pic after dark when he’s at work. πŸ˜‰ It’s nice to know that someone got it! (the dirty little secret is that Ciaran Hinds can look pretty creepy too.)

To be honest, I don’t pay much attention to Jack. I can’t watch his version of The Shining, and I think I’ve seen Pay It forward. Chinatown bugged be because of his bandaged nose, and A Few Good Men had Tom Cruise in it. I know he’s made more movies, but I’m not a fan. This particular still was just begging to be used, so I did. If he were to do Austen, who would he be?

Wickham at 50 as he looks at the Darcys, still happily married.

Willoughby as he looks once more at Mrs. Willoughby, nee Gray, wasn’t it?

Actually, I’m not sure JA ever wrote a character as insane as this one. Some JAFF writers have come close, though. Actually, he’s more suited for a Dickens adaptation. He wrote plenty of those characters.

I think he might serve as a good General Tilney. But, it’s true, Nicholson is more Dickensian than Austenian.

I would have to be a sequel, definitely. Wickham could go off his rocker. He’s a pathological liar in canon – that could worsen as he ages, and psychopathic tendencies could manifest. Ben could help us out. Wickham’s mind slowly unravels and the Darcys become enemy #1 in his twisted mind. He could become a Jack the Ripper. I like it.

While I know most readers of JA fics are looking for P&P, I’m thinking that Jack Nicholson would be a good addition to the actual place, Northanger Abbey. A little seen caretaker, at first, whose presence becomes more an more menacing as Catherine Moreland snoops around.

Though, Jack as George could be fun.
