He is risen. He is risen indeed.

Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying. And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there. Remember what I have told you.” (Matthew 28:5-7 NLT).

We endeavor to make everyone feel welcome here at JSI!, but we also must be true to who we are, and that is a group of Christian ladies who celebrate this season with joy and grateful hearts.

Thank you for stopping by and commenting.

Our pastor spoke about the two witnesses on the road to Emmaus this morning, along with the resurrection. It was wonderful to be a part of the service. In the third service, nobody sat down during the music – everyone was on their feet singing. There were about six hundred believers united in praise. It was truly awesome. We probably had about fifteen hundred in the three services combined. I’m not a numbers for the sake of numbers type of person, but there is excitement when that many believers are worshipping together.

    He is risen!

“In His great mercy He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead …” (I Peter 1:3)

A blessed Resurrection Day to you. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks for the Scripture quote! I loved the message our pastor delivered yesterday to celebrate Easter and I keep thinking about it.

Why yes, we DO want a piece of your mind. ;-)
