Ha, sound familiar?

Ahh, summer …

Just can’t leave those in-progress novels behind.

About the comic: Tomorrow I’m driving to Montana—with my two oldest sons, yay! —for a wedding on Saturday. Will I take my laptop? Is this even a question?

It’s summer. Therefore I write. Uh, on most days.

      Ah yes, those serial stories.

In an ideal world, I’d begin September with 13 chapters finished for Darcy By Any Other Name (DBAON, as Robin calls it). Well, okay, since we’re talking about an ideal world, the book would be finished by then! One does what one can. But to hit that goal I need to double up with postings when I’m able.

So…check the board Friday morning, Gayle. You might get a bonus surprise.

Woah! I didn’t agree to double postings. Once a week is the best I can do, especially since my Navy daughter and her hubby are coming next weekend! I haven’t seen them in 19 months!

You, my dear, are right on schedule. I am the one woefully behind. Double-posting is a bonus. Besides, I might not get my Wednesday post up for whatever reason. Better to be safe than sorry. 🙂

That’s good. I thought I was going to have to hunt you down, and I just don’t have time for it right now. ; )

No rest for the weary. It’s odd the way that I look at something happening, and in my mind, I’m writing it. I think of how I would describe it, how I would change it, what they could say, where it could lead – I’m weird.

Have a great time on your vacation.

You say teaching is in your DNA? So is writing.

Unless these behaviors mean we’re mentally ill control freaks…who must invent an imaginary world according to our precise (and superior) specifications.

And it’s an age thing. I think letting go of things is harder as I age. I stress less, but they are always hanging above, like the Sword of Damocles.
