CAPS LOCK talk? Or it’s Friday in middle school

2013-10-22-AllCaps-v2flat600-DebbieRidpathOhi
National Caps Lock day is in October, but nobody told my middle school students.

They’ve been talking LIKE THIS all day long.

I blame the sunny weather—a rarity for our part of Oregon. And also the massive track meet after school. And Drama Club, a too-much-fun class I used to think was a good idea. *sigh*

Everybody’s weary of working, and yet the toughest five weeks are ahead.

Come, summer break, come!

Deep breath, shoulders back, chin up. Some days are like this, right?

I’m heading home to lock the door and listen to…absolutely nothing.

Enjoy the weekend!

Your articulate, talkative granddaughter, who is often underfoot, ensures that the voices aren’t just inside your head, my friend. But I know exactly what you mean.

Tomorrow is another day. I’d watch mindless TV but there isn’t anything on that tempts me. Except this Bravo show I caught last night—which is either grasping at lame straws or brilliant, depending—that features people at home watching Bravo shows, making comments.

You and I could get in a lot of trouble, because this is one of our favorite things! 😮

Well, yes. One of the gals watching thought Devious Maids was SUCH a good show.

Another gal, different household, make snarkishly insightful comments about the quality of the acting on the same show. Kept me watching a few minutes instead of cruising right by.

Kind of like reading a book’s reviews on Amazon and wondering if the 5-star commenters and the 1-star commenters read the same book.
